Terms of Use for Barbershops

1. What the Platform is

Taper Tech connects barbershops with suppliers of consumables. Purchase contracts are concluded directly between you and the respective supplier. The Platform shows net prices, compares offers and documents orders, order status and communication.

2. Your benefits – only for orders placed via the Platform

• Price comparison: same pack, all approved suppliers, including shipping and tier prices.
• Consolidated overview and order history: one overview per supplier, reorder in two clicks.
• Buyer protection: documented order status, complaints tied to the order line item and a platform team that mediates when problems arise.

These services apply exclusively to orders placed via the Platform. For direct orders with a supplier – by phone, email or messenger – the Platform provides no documentation, no price comparison and no mediation in case of a dispute.

3. Communication via the Platform

You start requests to suppliers from an order, an item or your access request. The chat is intended for order questions, complaints, lead-time and price requests. Phone numbers, email addresses, links and messenger handles are removed automatically and the message is reported to the platform team. Until your first order with a supplier, that supplier sees your shop only in pseudonymised form (“Shop #…, City”).

4. Direct orders outside the Platform

Suppliers you met via the Platform have committed to handling orders through the Platform. Anyone who exchanges contact details in order to place orders bypassing the Platform violates these terms and loses the benefits listed in section 2. In such cases the platform team may post notices in the chat and – for repeated violations – restrict access.

5. Account and data

You keep your shipping and billing address up to date. Login credentials are confidential. We process personal data in accordance with the privacy notice; suppliers receive your company details only with your first order.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. We will inform you about material changes in your account; the current version is 2026-09.

Suppliers are governed by the Supplier Terms.
